Questions

What people ask us

How do I know if I have bed bugs?

Look for physical evidence near sleeping areas: apple-seed-sized brown bugs in mattress seams, pepper-like fecal spotting, shed skins, and pearl-white eggs in crevices. Bites alone cannot confirm bed bugs since reactions vary by person.

Can I get rid of bed bugs myself?

Rarely. Store-bought foggers scatter bed bugs deeper into walls and make professional treatment harder. Eggs resist most consumer sprays entirely. Professional protocols exist because this pest defeats everything else.

What is Aprehend?

Aprehend is a biopesticide barrier applied where bed bugs travel. Bugs cross it and carry the spores back to hidden harborage, reaching the bugs sprays cannot. It requires less prep than conventional treatment and keeps working for weeks.

How should I prepare for treatment?

It depends on the treatment type. Aprehend needs minimal prep; conventional treatment needs laundering and decluttering per our prep sheet. Over-preparing can actually hurt by relocating bugs, so follow the sheet exactly.

Did I get bed bugs because my home is dirty?

No. Bed bugs follow people, not filth. They arrive in luggage, secondhand furniture, and visitors' belongings, and the cleanest homes get them. What matters is acting fast once they arrive.
